I used the idea of a book for my header since this challenge is going to be a journal of my life over the years.
I hope you enjoy viewing these pages of my life as they unfold. I know I will...

Struggle

I struggle lately to take my picture every day.

I love photography, it is my life, it is my release, it is how I express myself.

There are just some days when I just want to stop or take a break. I see other 365ers and their pictures are so inspirational. It seems I never go anywhere or do anything so my pictures are just stupid things around my house. Another 365er has taken pictures of things at his house and I am blown away and how amazing and simple he makes it look. Always perfect lighting, always perfectly clear. I struggle and some days I just want to purposely not take a picture but I know it would be a shame to come this far and just give up.

I guess I will just have to continue taking my blah pictures and if you want to stop looking I understand.

Of course I will still follow your work because you are one of my favorite photographers!! I love your creativity and captures, even of household items. And the ones like your flags a few days ago are truly amazing. Just yesterday I was wondering, if I were to do a 365, what would I take a picture of today--and came up empty. It is so challenging to come up with something every single day! But you do an amazing job and are an inspiration--really, you are! Thank you for the dedication to your art. =)

You should not worry. You have been my inspiration. Thank you for allowing me to enjoy. I finally posted my last....a little late. But you pushed me and I enjoy every picture you take, no matter how mundane you may think it is.

you never take BLAH pictures. I rarely leave the house (well more now than before) so it's just crap at my house too! :O

I love checking in and am so glad you inspired me to try once again on mine.

Soooo...Uhh... Did I miss something because I don't think this is blah. I love just how many different shades there are here, the textures are rock'n cool and I love the shapes and the flow. But I do understand the struggle.

Some very talented and kind person once told me about my 365... "To me, that is the point, you set a goal and you finish it. You may feel like you are going nowhere but look back and see how far you have come." ... "I never want to stop."

I'm not as good with words as she is, but I hope she never does stop, because she is a great inspiration to me.

You are the inspiration for my 365!!! And yours is the only one I check nearly everyday. I've never met you in person but after following you everyday for over a year now, I feel as if we are dear friends. You let me into your life to feel your emotions, watch your kids grow, watch you grow, and you inspire me to be a better me, and a better photographer. You've never posted a photo I don't like.

P.S. Feeling unsatisfied with where you're at is what has made you so great - oh and all that natural talent of yours!!!!

You fret too much, but then you know that :P You see already from all these comments how great your work is and how we all admire you. Just remind yourself that you do the 365 for your own creativity and motivation. If the inspiration is not there for a given day, don't worry about it.

As for your around the house shots, they are wonderful too, better than my "blah" days too :)

Oh stop!! :) Guess what? You make me feel that way! Even with the pictures you take of things around your house, like the picture of the lamp that you took because you almost forgot to take a picture that day. It was awesome as is every picture on here!

Don't get down on yourself!!!! And please don't stop taking pictures. You don't even know me, but you have inspired me to keep my eyes open, keep my camera with me at all times, and start a 365 Challenge Blog. I am only one month in and am feeling the pressure of finding photo worthy stuff! Please don't stop! Thank you for the inspiration!
