The reason I posted this is not only because I had a blast last night with my friends at the premiere of "Eclipse" but to show that photography isn't just about "taking" the picture but in how you post process it as well.

We stayed at the cutest place in Afton, Wyoming called "The Corral Lodges".

We had our own real log cabin with 2 bedrooms and real log beds. Not very comfy, but still cute!

Got up at 5:30, picked up my friend Kristi, and drove to Wyoming to shoot a wedding all day.

Both pictures are exactly the same, I just rotated it. Weird how much it changes it. Which do you like better?

I took a short break from painting this morning to do a mini shoot in my backyard of a neighbor girl. Just can't get over that adorable face.

I have been working non-stop for 4 days now and I am not even close to being finished.

Next time I get a crazy idea like this, slap me. REALLY hard.

Page 171 - Happy Father's Day

Here is me, my 4 brothers, and my mom and dad.

This is what life was like growing up. We were all best friends. We all spent hours laughing, loving, and occasionally fighting!

I have the best family in the world. THE BEST.

Today, I took my own extended family pictures.

I think there should be a medal for that or something because it is hard!!!


Had to post this one since it is the first genuine smile with my girl looking right at the camera. I think she may be getting used to the growth on mommy's face that is a camera!

My hubby did it.

He ran the Ragnar which is a 24 hour relay race that goes from Logan to Park City or 188 miles.

I'm gushing with pride!!

Page 165 - Decisions, Decisions

Getting new flooring in my house. So much to choose from but for me, I walked in, grabbed the first one I saw and it was the one. That's how I shop. Don't like to spend too much time looking at hundreds of samples only to go back to the first one anyway.


I have to admit, having a cute baby on my choices totally cemented the deal!

I think flooring places would sell a lot more if they had cute babies you could put on them :)

In case you are wondering, this is my nephew and the new flooring I picked! Whatcha think?

Picked up my son from his dad's today to find this new faux-hawk haircut.

I think I actually like it :)

Page 163 - Scotland

I have a neighbor who plays the bagpipes out on his deck every Sunday.

Today I heard a whole band so I went over to find he had some friends over who were warming up to perform. I loved it.

Page 162 - Puddles of Rain

I hear a lot of complaints about the yucky weather we have been having.

Me, I love it. I love the cool rain. So you won't hear me complain.

When full blown summer hits and we have a total heat wave, then you will hear me complain!

Page 161 - Prison

I have felt like I've been in prison all day.

I got my niece to come over so I could spend the whole day editing since I had 8,141 pictures to go through.

Now I am down to 5500 but I am feeling discouraged.

So much to do and it's already 5:30pm. Ugh.

My brain is too fried to think of something creative so I just turned my chair around and took a picture of what's behind me. No, the picture is not grainy. My blinds are in desperate need of a good dusting.

Page 160 - All Tuckered Out

We had a loooong day today finishing the front yard. My girls got to play outside the whole day and were in heaven. By the time we went to dinner, the full day caught up to my little one and she crashed on the bench.

I came home today to the most amazing smoked ham my hubby made in his new smoker.

After dinner we sat and watched the amazing sunset that turned into a thunder and lighting storm. From our deck we had the perfect view!

Another weekend in Colorado to shoot a wedding.

At least I get upgraded to first class every time I fly thanks to my hubby having to travel so much.


Oh, and can someone please build a bridge like this in Utah so I can take cool pictures of people on it?

Summer break has officially begun!!!

I'm so excited for fun days at friend's houses spent talking while the kids play. It's doesn't get much better than that!

Today was the last day of school.

The last day my little girl is a Kindergartner.

The last day she will seem so little when I pull up in the car to pick her up.

I better stop, I just started crying.

Usually if I have a photo shoot I try not to use a picture from it for my photo of the day.

Today, is the exception since I am completely exhausted and I love this picture too much to not share it right away.

Isn't she stunning?
