Very cool abstract feel to this. As for the Drobo, I have one and they are nice, but honestly you could go after things with a couple of 2TB external drives (to mirror everything) for less and likely accomplish a lot of what you need. It is nice though having everything accessible in one place.

Tiffany - a Drobo is a super expensive storage system. It has crazy amounts of memory though and backs itself up so it's definitely on my wish list :)
