Today I am liking my new look a lot more. I decided to try and do a self portrait to show them off. It is so weird trying to hold the camera out in front of you and hoping you get the focus right! I actually think the shots I got were better not seeing what was in the frame since parts of my face got cut off in some and I love that look!

Looking great! Glad to hear you are in a happier place and feeling good about your look. That's always a good thing.
Self portraits are tough. I've actually found that holding up my hand where I want focus to be helps the camera grab the focus, then I move into that position with my face to try and work the composition. Might be something only needed with the crappy focus on my camera model, but it works!
