It's time for me to let go, even though for some reason it's hard for me.
My 85mm f/1.4 is officially for sale (click to see ad).
This has been my favorite lens from the day I bought it a year and a half ago. It gave me some of the best images I've ever taken and It's always been in my bag. The bokeh and DOF of this thing is unlike any other. My hubby got me the new model that Nikon just came out with and is bugging me to sell the old one so I guess it's time.
Goodbye my amazing friend. Ironically enough, I took this picture with my new 85mm :)

Ooooo...how much are you selling it for?

How long did you have to wait for the new one? Mine's been backordered for about a month.
My husband got it at Christmas and didn't have to wait at all. I guess it helps that his best friend is the manager of the store though!!
Yeah, that could help a bit. Is it as lovely as it sounds?
Will, it's even better than you could imagine :)
Then I'm even more excited, 'cos I've got some pretty high expectations! ;-)
Suzanne, the title of this post FREAKED ME OUT. I thought you were saying "goodbye" to photography and my first thought was, "who is going to take my awesome photos now?" Glad to see it's a lens you're saying goodbye to, and not photography. Phew. Now I can take a deep breathe. Miss you!
I'm a Canon girl....and I don't have the $$$...lol...but I would LOVE it!
